We were deeply shocked by the death of our Sheikh Dahir Sh. Qasim. Sheikh Dahir was born and raised in Hubyo, Somalia 1930s. He started Qur’raan in Hubyo . His father was very famous Sheikh Qasin because of his knowledge and everybody respect him in Somalia. Sheikh Dahir moved to Wardheer during second world two. She Dahir started his first business in Awar. After increased problem between Somalia and Ethiopia, Sh. Dahir decided to back to Somalia in 1960s at city of Hargiesa, North Somalia. Sh. Dahir lived in Hargiesa for long time and he back to zone five when Somali civil war started, because lack of safety. Sheikh Dahir was one of the most influential Sheikh Muslim activists of the late and early 20 and 21 centuries in regions.
Knowledge and the quest for knowledge are what saved Sheikh Dahir, along with his deep sense of faith in our religion Islam. Sheikh Dahir loved the knowledge and He always said “without education, you are not going far.” Sheikh Dahir was a brilliant of religious and businessman and he played a huge role in the help his people in Muslim. Sheikh Dahir was dative in the creation of a number of businesses. Sheikh Dahir was one of the supports of Somalia development projects and peace for whole nation an active and scrupulous social worker.
Sheikh Dahir will forever be engraved in the diary of Somalia and zone five history for his relentless and unselfish effort to help his people in Somalia and zone five as whole. His soul is gone but his feat will stick around forever. On the behalf of Economia classmate in 1989 and friends, we hereby join the people of Somalia and zone five in particular Dhagax Bur, in general in their sadness and grief over the loss of a beloved Sheikh Dahir. May the omnipotent give him rest and peace in his last dwelling and give his family, relatives, and friends the courage to conquer this unrepeatable loss. Condolences were sent by:
