presidents of Libya and Somalia have signed a trade pact in the Libyan capital,
interim president, Abdiqasim Salad Hasan, is currently in Libya at the head of
a Somali delegation. According to the deal, Libya will buy 120,000 goats and 20,000
camels from Somalia annually.
official spokesman of the Somali government, Idris Hasan Diriye, who is in Libya,
told the BBC that Libya had pledged to meet a share of the interim government's
